Thorin slowly woke up, feeling the hobbit slightly shift on top of him. Still half asleep, he tightened his grip around Bilbo, burying his nose against his neck, nuzzling it gently. He hasn't felt this good in quite a long time and he wanted to savour this as long as possible.
Bilbo blushed slightly when he felt the other hold on tighter and snuggle to him, but he smiled and ran one of his hands through the others rather long hair and relaxed back against him.
Thorin felt the hobbit's small fingers playing with his hair and started to finally fully wake up. Slowly, he opened his eyes and smiled as soon he saw Bilbo. "Good morning.", he whispered and pressed a soft kiss to Bilbo's lips.
Bilbo smiled a bit and blushed lightly, continuing to play with Thorin's long dark hair as he returned the kiss. He smiled up to him when it ended and rested his head back on his chest. "Good morning."
Thorin chuckled as he saw Bilbo blushing again. Carefully, he stretched a bit, yawning slightly. Bilbo's touch felt very nice and he gently moved his head against the hobbit's hand. "How are you?", he asked quietly.
Bilbo smiled to him and nuzzled his chest. "I'm fine." He sighed softly and closed his eyes again as he relaxed to enjoy the moment with the other. "Did you sleep well?"
"That's nice to hear.", Thorin said and started to caress Bilbo's back. "I slept very well, much better than many nights before. What about you?" Actually it was the best sleep he had in a very long time, maybe even in his whole life.
Bilbo hummed softly and opened his eyes, glad to hear the other had a peaceful night sleep. "I have to agree, that was one of the best nights I've had sleeping." He stayed happily snuggled to the others warmth before looking back to see the elk still there and a few others joined it.
Thorin followed Bilbo's gaze and caught sight of the elks standing by the lake. "They are truly amazing creatures, aren't they?", he said, watching the animals. They looked very peaceful and fit in quite well into the scenery unfolding in front of them.
Bilbo nodded and rubbed the others chest lightly. "Indeed, quite beautiful in the mornings and evenings." He smiled a bit more, enjoying more the moment now that is seemed even more serene than before.
Thorin sighed softly as he felt Bilbo's touch on his chest. "Mhh.", he mumbled, smiling happily at the little hobbit and gently nudged Bilbo's nose with his own. He was very glad that Bilbo seemed to enjoy this as much as himself.
Bilbo giggled softly at the light affection and kissed his nose softly, thinking they were the only two in the world as he  laid back on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. It was comforting to him and made him think nothing could ruin the moment.
When Bilbo laid his head onto Thorin's chest, the dwarf started to run his one of his hands through the hobbit's soft, curly hair and with the other one he gently caressed his neck. "Do you still miss the Shire so badly?", he quietly asked. He wanted to know what Bilbo felt and what was on his mind and he wanted to make the rest of their journey as nice and pleasant as possible for his little hobbit.
Bilbo blinked and looked up to him. To be honest, he hadn't even been thinking about the Shire when he was comfortable in Thorin's warmth. He shook his head and laid back on down, wrapping his arms around the dwarfs chest. "No, I do not, not when I'm happy here..."
"That's nice to hear.", Thorin mumbled, smiling at Bilbo. "And it's especially nice to hear that you are happy here." He was actually feeling very well right now, too, with Bilbo laying on top of him. He tenderly kissed Bilbo's cheek and let his head rest against the hobbit's, letting out a content sigh.
Bilbo smiled happily at the other, enjoying this tender side of the once bitter man. He sighed almost longily as he snuggled up to him. He dared not ask about Erebor, knowing all of the dwarves missed it.
"What are you thinking of?", Thorin asked quietly as he heard Bilbo sighing, curling up against him a bit more. Carefully he lifted one of his hands and started to let his fingers draw small patterns on the back of Bilbo's own hand.
"Erebor.." He said softly and closed his eyes. "I was just wondering.. What does it look like?" He asked softly and looked up to Thorin, curiosity shining a bit in his eyes.
"Well, I was quite young when we had to leave.", Thorin started. "But I still remember everything pretty clearly. Erebor is a very beautiful place, even if you think it can't be, because it's under the Mountain, but it is. There are huge halls, full of more gold and gems than you can imagine, shining everywhere. You can imagine it like a whole city build into the mountain. There is everything you could wish for, are even hot springs." He was that happy that the hobbit was interested in knowing more about his home under the Mountain.
Bilbo was happy to just lay there and listen to Thorin speak to him about the mountain they were to take back. He looked amazed up to the other, nuzzling his chest. "It sounds wonderful.."
"It really is wonderful.", Thorin smiled and linked his fingers with Bilbo's. He was more than looking forward to show his beautiful kingdom to his little hobbit and he was sure that Bilbo would be impressed.
Bilbo smiled and gripped the others hand lightly before closing his eyes again. He hummed contently and felt like he was going to slip back to sleep again.
"Do hobbits always sleep that much?", Thorin asked amusedly as he watched Bilbo laying on his chest with his eyes closed, looking as if he was about to fall asleep every second. Carefully he placed a soft kiss on Bilbo's nose. His little hobbit was just too adorable and he was more than content to hold him into his arms now.
Bilbo grumbled softly at his comment and curled more into him. "We do when tired and warm." He mumbled under a yawn.
"Well, that's cute.", Thorin chuckled and was actually glad that they were able to sleep late, because otherwise he couldn't spend that much time cuddling with his lovely hobbit.
"Thorin..?" He mumbled, sleep coating every letter that came out of his mouth as he gripped to the others tunic.
"Hmm, what is it?", Thorin grumbled and tenderly kissed Bilbo's cheek. He reattached his coat so that only Bilbo's head was poking out of it.
Bilbo yawned softly and snuggled more into the warmth. "Can you sing...? Or hum even...? You're voice is lovely.." He smiled as he spoke.
Thorin smiled when he heard Bilbo's request. "Of course I can.", he said before settling down more comfortably, pulling Bilbo closer to his chest.
Quietly, not to wake up the other dwarves, he started to sing an old dwarven song, his father taught him, when he was much younger.
Bilbo smiled brightly and snuggled deep into his chest, listening to the song as he slowly fell asleep once more, the others deep voice still ringing in his ears.
Thorin noticed that Bilbo fell asleep again and slowly stopped singing. He smiled happily at the little hobbit cuddled up into his arms and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. The dwarven king decided to also settle for sleep again and before he could even finish that thought, he was already deep asleep, with Bilbo snuggled against him.
Bilbo slept on for a little while longer, enveloped in Thorin's inviting warmth. He wasn't awake to see the elk were rummaging through their things. He grumbled when one of them snuffled his hair and he grumbled Thorin's name, thinking the dwarf was doing something.
Thorin woke up halfway when Bilbo grumbled his name, but didn't bother to open his eyes. "Hmmh...?", he mumbled sleepily, letting his head rest against Bilbo's.
"What are you doing...?" He grumbled, half asleep, brows knitting together when he  still felt the elk snuffling his hair. He yelped when it started to try and eat his hair like grass.
Suddenly Thorin was wide awake and opened his eyes. He was greeted with the sight of the huge elk trying to eat Bilbo's hair. As fast as he could, he tried to sit up and shoved the elk's big head away, punching it slightly against his nose so that it would release Bilbo's hair. "Stop it! Get away!", he growled to the animal and tried to push it away from them. One the one hand he was angry at the elk for disturbing their peaceful sleep and their togetherness, but on the other hand he found it kind of cute how the animal snuffled his little hobbit's hair.
Bilbo hid in the others chest before looking behind him to the elk and blinked, rubbing his head where the elk had pulled at his hair. The animal snorted and rose on its hind legs slightly.
Thorin put one arm around Bilbo protectively, not wanting his hobbit to get attacked by the elk and tried to shield him with his body. With his free hand he gripped his sword, which was laying under his pack, he used as his pillow, and held it out in front of the elk. "Go away, stupid beast!", he said and swung his sword in front of the elk's nose a few time, while he tried to sit up, still holding Bilbo.
The elk stamped down on the ground by Thorin before prancing over the rest of the group and joining its own before they ran off into the forest. Bilbo peeped out and blinked, looking to the others sword and then up to him.
Thorin sighed with relief as the elks ran back off into the forest. He placed his sword back down under his pack and turned to Bilbo again. "Everything alright?", he asked, smiling reassuringly at the hobbit.
Bilbo blinked and smiled to him and nodded. "I'm quite fine." He smiled and kissed his cheek softly. "Thank you." He chuckled softly as he watched the elk disappear.
"You're very welcome! I couldn't have let that elk attack you without doing anything against it", he smiled as he settles himself back down properly and kissed Bilbo on his lips tenderly.
Bilbo melted into the kiss as his eyes fluttered shut. His hands lightly caressed the others neck as he snuggled back into him.
Thorin placed one hand at Bilbo's side, the other one at his lower back, slowly rubbing circles against the hobbit's back while they kissed. He has wanted to do this for quite a long time and it felt even better than he imagined. Bilbo's hands on his neck felt wonderful.
Bilbo instinctively pressed closer to Thorin, hands continuing to rub his neck lightly, moving to the back of it. He was enjoying this as well. He had never been one for this kind of company, but being with Thorin like this was nice, and he was warm.
Thorin felt the little hobbit moving closer to him and smiled into their kiss. He didn't want to scare Bilbo off, so he kept the kiss slow and gentle, humming contently at the feeling of Bilbo caressing his neck and tightened his arms around his hobbit. At the moment he couldn't imagine anything better than lying here.
After feeling like he was going to pass out, he pulled back for air, opening his eyes half way to look up to Thorin, panting softly. A pink blush dusted his cheeks and the points of his ears.
Thorin also slightly opened his eyes after both of them pulled back from the kiss to see that Bilbo was blushing again. He smiled happily. "You don't know how cute you look right now.", he chuckled and brought one hand up to Bilbo's face to caress his cheek.
Bilbo blushed and rested his face more in Thorin's hand with a smile, both his hands reaching up to hold it there. "Thank you."
"Nothing to thank for.", Thorin said with a soft smile. "I should thank you, at first for joining us on our journey to reclaim Erebor and for laying here with me. Right now I'm as happy as I haven't been for quite a long time. Thank you for that.", he finished and pressed another soft kiss against Bilbo's lips.
Bilbo was happy to kiss him back, eyes shutting again as he relaxed into Thorin once again. He tilted his head slightly into the kiss, hands moving to Thorin's scruffy cheeks.
Thorin couldn't help but smile into the kiss as he felt Bilbo's hands against his cheeks. Returning the kiss, he let one of his hands wander up to Bilbo's neck, gently caressing the soft skin there. He let the other one rest against the hobbit's side, stroking softly.
A soft sound slipped past his lips against Thorin's, and a darker blush went across his face before he stroked his cheeks softly.
Again tightening his grip around Bilbo, Thorin deepened the kiss a bit, softly tracing the hobbit's lips with his tongue, carefully not to scare off the other.
Bilbo felt his cheeks heat up more as he opened his mouth slowly to let the other in.
As soon as their tongues touched, Thorin felt a shiver go through his whole body. It felt even more amazing than anything ever in his whole life. Slowly he started to explore Bilbo's mouth with his tongue.
Bilbo shuddered and softly moaned into the others mouth as his own tongue brushed against Thorin's. It felt... It felt wonderful.
Thorin groaned slightly and pulled his little hobbit as tight as possible against his chest. How he has missed the feeling of holding somebody in his arms, of kissing somebody. For the first time on their long journey he seemed to be really happy again.
His fingers then moved to tangle in Thorin's dark hair as their tongues danced together.
Slowly Thorin softened the kiss again and drew away in need of air. Lazily he opened his eyes. "You look so gorgeous", he whispered against Bilbo's lips, the hobbit's cheeks still flushed from their kiss.
Bilbo's eyes opened slightly as his breaths were soft and quick, soft pants for air against the others lips and his fingers curled the long strands of Thorin's hair."
Thorin let out a soft, content hum as he felt Bilbo's fingers in his hair. Smiling happily, he lowered his head again and went in for another kiss.
Bilbo met him halfway, in fact pulling him close, a little roughly, by his hair. His eyes fell shut again as he kissed Thorin happily.
Thorin smiled into the kiss when Bilbo pulled his hair a bit. So his little hobbit actually wasn't just sweet and shy... Without hesitation he deepened their kiss again.
Bilbo's cheeks flared as he was still slow to open his mouth for Thorin, hands moving down to caress his neck once more.
Thorin let one of his hands slowly wander over Bilbo's side, caressing his little hobbit. The other one was buried in the halfling's soft locks. He could stay like this forever, Thorin thought to himself.
Bilbo let out a soft and happy sigh into the kiss as his hands trailed down to rest over Thorin's chest.
When Bilbo placed his hands on his chest, Thorin became a little bit more curageous. His tongue seeking Bilbo's, starting to battle for dominance.
Bilbo let a soft noise slip out as he tried to fight back, though with little experience quickly lost.
Thorin softly chuckled as he felt Bilbo's tongue clumsily struggling against his own. His hand which was buried into Bilbo's curls started to restlessly roam over the hobbit's back.
Bilbo pressed against his chest more and continued to try and wrestle his tongue against Thorin's, moaning softly.
Thorin loved it how Bilbo slowly became more and more courageous with every second that passed and the hobbit's soft moan sent shivers down his spine.
Bilbo pulled back for his own breath, blushing bright as he rubbed Thorin's chest slightly. He never thought he'd ever find himself doing this, laying on the forest floor, kissing someone.
"Love you.", Thorin mumbled as soon as he also drew back from their kiss. He was more than happy that his little hobbit was lying here with him.
Bilbo smiled and nuzzled into the others neck happily, closing his eyes. "I love you too..." He spoke softly.
At Bilbo's words, pure joy started to spread through Thorin's body. He had never expected their journey to develop like this and he also never thought that he would fall in love with a hobbit from the Shire, but kissing and holding Bilbo close to himself just felt right. "Tired?", he asked and started to comb through Bilbo's hair affectionately.
Bilbo smiled and closed his eyes. "No, too happy to be tired." He snuggled more to him, relaxing against him happily.
"That's nice.", Thorin mumbled and pressed a gentle kiss against the soft skin under Bilbo's ear. Settling down a bit more comfortable he closed his eyes and listened to Bilbo's relaxed breathing.
Bilbo wrapped his arms around Thorin's chest as he snuggled back up to him and smiled brightly.
"Well, months ago I couldn't imagine traveling with a hobbit and now I'm lying here with you in my arms. Destiny is funny, isn't it?", Thorin whispered into Bilbo's ear, tightening his arms around his little hobbit.
Bilbo opened his eyes and chuckled softly. "It surely is, I never even thought I'd even see a dwarf, let alone kiss one..."
"I guess that isn't a bad thing, or is it?", Thorin chuckled, starting to caress the hobbit's stomach.
Bilbo chuckled softly and nuzzled to his chest more. "No, it's a good thing."
"Well, that's... great."  Thorin stretched like a big cat to get into a more comfortable position and readjusted his little hobbit on top of him, still smiling happily.
Bilbo nuzzled his face into Thorin's chest more and sighed happily, engulfed in his warmth.
Thorin has never felt this happy in his whole life. He wanted to protect Bilbo and he wanted do everything to make him happy. But he didn't know if Bilbo was okay with their... relationship. "Do you... want the others to know about us or do you want to keep it secret?", he quietly asked the hobbit. No matter how Bilbo decided, it would be alright for him, not wanting to force his little hobbit into something he didn't want to.
Bilbo blinked and looked up to him slightly before sighing softly. "... I... I don't know. I've never been one for.. This kind of thing." He snuggled to him more. "But, they deserve to know that their king has picked up a little hobbit..."
"Listen Bilbo, if you don't want them to know, it's alright. Whatever you want is okay, I don't mind. I don't need them to know about it to know that I love you with all my heart. It's really up to you.", he whispered and softly kissed Bilbo's cheek.
Bilbo felt his heart flutter in his chest at the others words and he blushed, smiling. "No, I feel they should know."
Thorin smiled as soon as he heard Bilbo's decision. "Well... Tell them or let them find out about it themselves?", he asked and playfully winked at the hobbit.
Bilbo blushed a bit more. "We.. Can let them figure it out..." He leaned to leave a soft kiss on the others lips before moving to snuggle back under his chin.
Thorin grinned at how cheeky his little hobbit has become. "Whatever you want.", he said quietly and gently started to rub across Bilbo's back.
Bilbo closed his eyes and smiled a bit more, snuggling up to him with a soft sigh. "How far is the walk...?"
"We will hopefully reach a little village this evening where we can stay and stock up our supplies. But I think from then on, it will take several weeks until we reach the Mountain.", Thorin answered. At that moment, he decided that maybe they should slow down a little bit. They have waited for years now to reclaim Erebor and a few days more wouldn't make anything worse and they didn't have to hurry that much. He saw how Bilbo always was exhausted from the long days they spent hiking through the country.
Lightly gripping to Thorin's tunic, he snuggled more to his wramth and sighed softly, nodding. It was nice that they wouldn't be pushing themselves like they had been, and was even more glad that he would be able to spend more nights like this with Thorin.
Thorin smiled and pressed a light kiss to Bilbo's cheek. "Maybe we'll even find a nice place to stay for the night, it would be nice to lie in a real bed again.", he said, imagining to share a nice and cosy bed with his little hobbit.
Bilbo smiled at the idea and nodded, cudling more to him. "Although you make a very nice bed already..." He chuckled softly and opened his eyes.
Thorin couldn't do anything but smiling broadly. "Well, that's good to know. Thank you.", he chuckled, pulling Bilbo as close as possible to himself, and bent down to kiss his little hobbit again.
Bilbo smiled more and returned the kiss lightly, rubbing his chest gently. He sighed softly and looked up. "We should all probably be getting up, it's getting very light out..."
"Mhm..", Thorin mumbled. He knew that Bilbo was right and that they should get up soon, but he felt so comfortable right now that he didn't want to move one inch.
Bilbo kissed his forehead gently. "Come one, we have to get the others up and find breakfast."
Lazily, Thorin opened his eyes and rubbed his nose against Bilbo's face. He slowly stretched like a huge cat, his back cracking quietly.
Bilbo smiled and nuzzled his cheek against Thorin's, giggling softly at his beard lightly scratching against his skin.
Slowly Thorin tried to sit up, yawning, one of his arms still around his little hobbit. He still did not want to leave his comfortable position and he already started to miss lying there with Bilbo curled on top of him.
Bilbo sighed softly and let Thorin rise at his own pace as he looked across their camp at the other, seeing a few of them begin to rise.
Finally standing upright, Thorin stretched again. "Let's wake the others, shall we?", he asked and pressed a soft kiss to Bilbo's lips.
Bilbo smiled and returned the kiss softly before nodding. "Yup, let's get to it.
Thorin wandered off to wake up the rest of their company. When he approached his nephews he found Fili gently holding onto his brother in his sleep from behind. The dwarven king smiled and shook both of them lightly to wake them up.
Kili yawned softly and slowly opened his eyes, looking up to Thorin.
Bilbo walked around and tried to wake a few of the dwarves up, though most of them just rolled over and grumbled at him.
"Morning Kili. Make sure Fili gets up, too, we should get going soon.", Thorin said to his nephew and walked over to Bilbo to help him wake up the others.
Kili nodded with a soft yawn and rolled over to try and wake Fili. "Fili... Brother... Uncle says it's time to get up." His voice rather soft as he was still tired. Bilbo smiled to Thorin when he helped him wake everyone and he himself moved to get everything out for breakfast, which was just bowls.
Fili slowly opened his eyes and looked at his brother sleepily. "Mh what?", he grumbled and yawned slightly. Meanwhile Thorin has told some of the other dwarves to gather something for breakfast because their few supplies they had left wouldn't be enough for all of them.
Kili's eyes fell shut and he yawned. "Uncle says it's time to get up.." Bilbo went and tried to start a fire, gathering up twigs and sticks.
"Well, then let's do what he said, I don't want him to be angry again.", Fili said and sat up, rubbing his eyes. Thorin checked that everyone of their company was awake and helping, then he walked over to help the halfling with the fire.
Kili stretched a bit on the ground with a long groan and slowly sat up as well, cracking his shoulders. Bilbo smiled up to Thorin and started to stack up the twigs he had gathered for kindling.
"Come on.", Fili said after he stood up and gently pulled his brother by his hands to help him up. Thorin pulled out a flint from one of his pockets and started to light the fire. As soon as the kindling started to smoulder, he carefully blew on the fire and they didn't have to wait long until they had a nice fire.
Kili cracked his back and smiled to his brother. "Thank you." He picked up his leather armor and started to strap it back on. Bilbo smiled happily at the fire and set the pot over it, picking up a pale and walking to set water from the lake.
"You're welcome.", Fili replied and started to pick up his armor as well, still sleepy. Thorin followed Bilbo with his gaze and smiled happily. He never expected to fall in love with a hobbit, but now it had happened and he felt completely well about it.
Kili picked up his quiver and slung it over his shoulder, as well as his bow. "You ready for another long day?" He chuckled. Bilbo hummed softly as he gathered water into the bucket from the lake and looked around a bit, enjoying the view before walking back to the fire.
"More or less, yeah.", Fili answered and grinned at his brother while he also started to equip himself. Thorin watched the company prepare a small breakfast from what they found in the surrounding forest and eventually helped here and there.
Kili smiled to him as he put on his gloves and boots. He sniffled the air. "Mmm, breakfast smells good."  Bilbo smiled as he helped out with breakfast.
"Well then get going!", Fili exclaimed laughingly, already fully dressed himself. His brother was always talking much, which made him really slow. When their breakfast was fully prepared, Thorin grabbed two bowls and sat down next to Bilbo, handing one bowl over to his little hobbit.
Kili was quick to dash over where the food was, a large grin on his face. Bilbo smiled to Thorin and thanked him before starting to eat.
Fili just grinned and watched after his brother as Kili ran off for breakfast. Food was one of the few things which would get Kili going immediately, he thought as he slowly followed his brother. Thorin chuckled and faced his own breakfast, listening to the other dwarves while he ate.
Kili happily grabbed his own bowl and began to eat happily. Bilbo finished after a little while with a soft sigh and smiled.
Slowly Fili picked up his bowl of breakfast and walked over to where his brother has already settled on the ground. He plopped down next to Kili and also started to eat. From time to time, Thorin glanced at his little hobbit, watching him eating. A happy smile spread on his face.
Kili was almost halfway done with his food when Fili sat with him. He looked to his brother and smiled before continuing to eat the breakfast. Bilbo sighed softly and would gather up the dishes of those who finished so he could wash them.
"Look at uncle Thorin.", Fili whispered after they sat in silence for a while, gently nudging his brother with his elbow. Thorin watched Bilbo walking off with the gathered bowls, grinning contently.
Kili blinked and looked to him smiling a bit. "Ever seen him smile like that in decades?" He asked with a chuckle. Bilbo hummed as he washed the dishes.
"No, not that I can remember.", his brother answered. "Seems like he finally found a reason to be happy again." Thorin decided to keep his little hobbit company and got up. He left their little camp in the same direction as Bilbo previously had.
Kili smiled to his brother and nodded.  Bilbo continued to hum his little tune, cleaning the bowls before standing, turning around and almost running into the other.
Fili watched his uncle getting up and following their burglar. "Woah.. hey.", Thorin chuckled and beamed at Bilbo.
Kili smiled as well and yawned softly, still tired. Bilbo smiled up to him. "Hello."
"Everything alright?", Thorin asked the little hobbit, still smiling, stepping closer to his burglar.
Bilbo nodded and smiled. "Yes, just finishing up the bowls.."
"Mh... that's good.", Thorin said grinning and gently placed his hands on Bilbo's hips
Bilbo blinked and smiled a bit more. "Thorin, I have to do the dishes.."
Thorin smiled widely and pulled his little hobbit closer to himself. "Well, who says you have to?"
Bilbo blushed a bit and chuckled softly. "Thorin... You can hold me all you want... Once the dishes are done."
Thorin sighed. "Ugh... fine, if you insist.", he grumbled and slowly let go of Bilbo.
Bilbo smiled and stood on his tip toes to peck his nose lightly. "Patience is a virtue, Thorin." He chimed softly before moving to return the clean dishes to the camp.
Thorin raised one eyebrow as he perplexedly watched Bilbo return the wooden bowls back to their camp. He was surprised at how cheeky his little hobbit could be and, he had to admit, he was somehow slightly turned on.
Bilbo hummed and set the bowls down, picking up more dirty bowls to clean.
Thorin sat down on a tree stump and followed Bilbo with his gaze. The hobbit was hurrying around their camp, gathering bowls and returning to the river to clean them.
Bilbo continued to hum happily as he cleaned up and packed up the dishes and utensils. Once done, smiled and looked to Thorin.
Thorin patiently waited for Bilbo to finish cleaning the dishes. As soon as he saw that the little hobbit was done, he grinned and glanced up to Bilbo.
Bilbo smiled to him and walked over to sit next to him.
Thorin turned to face his little hobbit. "Well, seems like you're finally finished with the dishes.", he chuckled.
Oh, master of the obvious, glad nothing gets by you..." He chuckled, teasing slightly.
"We are getting a bit cheeky, Mister Baggins, aren't we?", Thorin growled amusedly and moved a bit closer to his little hobbit.
"Am I? Well, is that really a bad thing?" He chuckled up to the other.
"Definitively not.", Thorin grinned. Slowly he shifted closer to his little burglar. He kind of loved the way Bilbo acted so innocent right now.
Bilbo chuckled softly and stretched slightly, rolling his ankles. "Well, then as long as I do not offend you..." He smiled, looking to him from the corner of his eye.
"Not by any means!", Thorin chuckled and looked Bilbo straight in the eye. He sensed that his little hobbit just wanted to tease him and, damn it, he really started to like this.
Bilbo chuckled and patted his cheek. "That's good." He chuckled and moved to pick up his pack.
"Hey, where you're going?", Thorin asked a bit shocked and gladly he was quick enough to place his hands on Bilbo's hip to stop him.
Bilbo squeaked slightly at the others large hands on his hips. "I'm just getting my stuff." He chuckled and looked t him. "I'm not going anywhere..."
"Well, that's good.", Thorin grinned, looking up at Bilbo, and pulled the little hobbit in his direction.
Bilbo chuckled and sat back next to the other, right up to him and rested his head on his shoulder.
Thorin sighed happily and drew his arms around his little hobbit, burying his nose in Bilbo's soft curls.
Bilbo smiled and sighed softly, relaxing into Thorin more as he closed his eyes.
"Still tired?", Thorin quietly asked and pressed a tender kiss against the soft spot right below Bilbo's ear, tightening his arms around the other.
Bilbo blushed a bit and chuckled. "No, just content." He smiled and opened his eyes a bit.
"Mhm.. That's nice.", Thorin mumbled. It was good to hear that Bilbo was well, although he was far away from his home in The Shire and it made Thorin exceptionally happy.
Bilbo relaxed against the other and opened his eyes a bit, looking to their company.
Thorin followed the hobbit's gaze with his own and started to watch his fellow dwarves cleaning up the reminders of their breakfast. He was glad that they were a marvelous team together and he did not regret brining anyone of them with him onto this journey. As a matter of routine, his fingers started to draw lazy patterns on Bilbo's sides, gently caressing his little hobbit.
Bilbo once again closed his eyes, letting out a soft and content noise at the others touches, nuzzling into his shoulder.
Thorin smiled happily as he felt Bilbo's weight against his body. It was quite cute how the halfling was behaving like a small cat, searching for warmth. At this thought, Thorin chuckled.
Bilbo blinked his eyes open at the rumble he heard and felt come from deep in Thorin's chest. "What is so funny?"
"You're cute, you know that?", Thorin asked, still grinning, and affectionately looked at Bilbo.
Bilbo smiled a blushed slightly, nuzzling more into the fur cloak on his shoulder.
Thorin chuckled, a huge smile spreading on his face. He absolutely loved the way his adorable little hobbit always blushed. Tightening his arms around Bilbo, he sighed contently. The dwarf never thought he would enjoy something so much as this.
Bilbo smiled more into his shoulder before the tapping on his shoulder brought him out of his thoughts. Ori blinked and looked to him. "Um, shouldn't we be going so we are not stuck walking through the night again?"
Thorin was ripped out of his thoughts by the feeling of Bilbo jerking against him. He looked up at Ori, who awkwardly watched the two of them. "Of course. Although today's walk will not be that long, we should get going.", Thorin answered calmly. "Go and tell the others we are leaving soon."
Ori nodded to Thorin and quickly moved back to the rest of their company. Bilbo looked back to Thorin and kissed his cheek softly, slowly moving to stand. "I'm going to gather my things."
